The consultation on the Budget consultation for 2022 has now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part. Work is now underway to draw all this information together to present a report to our Councillors. Once this report goes to committee it will be available.
West Lindsey District Council welcomed views as part of our budget setting process for the 2023 to 2024 financial year.
Each year we must agree a balanced budget. This means that our income must match our expenditure. Over the past 12 years this has been getting more difficult as government funding has fallen significantly.
Our residents are now in a cost of living crisis, with costs that are still set to increase further. This poses a real threat to many households and we wanted to know how you felt the council could help.
Our consultation is now closed. Respondents were able to take part by either completing a survey or by attending one of our events. These events were:

This consultation provided an opportunity for you to review and comment on our approach to meeting the budget and your views on the level of Council Tax. This consultation closed on Monday 3 October 2022.
