Following the end of public consultation in January and analysis of the results, it was decided that closure of the footpath between Enderby Crescent and ‘Rec Hill’ would NOT be recommended.
The recommendation not to close went before the Licencing and Regulatory Committee in March and was upheld. The footpath will therefore remain open, with alternatives considered for dealing with any ongoing problems.
We would like to thank again all those who took time to respond to the consultation and let us know their views, whether for or against closure.
