Chairman of the Council

Councillor Steve England was elected as Chairman of West Lindsey District Council for a third successive year at the 48th Annual Meeting of the Council on Tuesday, 4 May 2021.

Steve was born and raised in Lancashire, and spent most of his working life in the public transport sector. On retirement he moved to West Lindsey with his wife of over 50 years Kathryn. They have a son and daughter and a teenage grandson.

Councillor Angela Lawrence was also elected as the Vice Chairman for a second successive year at the meeting.
