What is a combined assurance?
Combined assurance is a structured means of identifying and mapping the main sources and types of assurance in the council and coordinating them to best effect. It enhances risk management by providing an effective and efficient framework of sufficient, regular, and reliable evidence of assurance on organisational stewardship and management of major risks to the Council’s success.
