Following the announcement of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen, it has been agreed to postpone the business of upcoming formal district council meetings as a mark of respect.
This decision will affect
- Corporate Policy and Resources Committee scheduled for Thursday, 22 September, 2022, 6.30pm has been cancelled.
- Regulatory Committee scheduled for Thursday, 15 September, 2022, 6.30pm has been postponed. This has been rescheduled for Thursday 22 September, 2022, 6.30pm.
- Prosperous Communities Committee scheduled for Tuesday, 13 September, 2022, 6.30 pm has been postponed. This has been rescheduled to Wednesday 21 September 2022, 6.30pm.
We continue to monitor this evolving national situation. Please look out for updates on decisions concerning future formal meetings. Informal meetings for both colleagues and councillors will still continue. This will mean that for the majority of our staff it will be business as usual for the delivery of our services.
