Saturday 18 November 2017, 10am – 3.45pm
If you love to sing or think you might, then this is the workshop for you... songs old and new, from near and far, all in harmony and taught by ear. Laugh, drink tea, have fun and make a great sound!
Jacqui Ford will be the facilitator for the days Singing Workshop which is to take place on the stage in the auditorium where there are amazing acoustics. Jacqui started singing back in 2004 when she started attending workshops led by Faith Watson of Singing for Larks, where Jacqui learned a range of wonderful a cappella songs, all taught by ear. No written music, no auditions, no judgement, just everyone having fun and making a great sound... singing heaven!
Jacqui became a regular and within a year she had decided that she wanted to be able lead my own singing workshops and after training for 2 years with Faith as her mentor, Jacqui acquired the skill that she needed to lead her own singing groups.
“I love singing with others, and more than that I love enabling people to sing together. I get the biggest buzz from seeing the delight (and sometimes shock!) on people's faces when they hear themselves singing as a group and making a wonderful sound!”
There are limited spaces available, so please book in advance to save disappointment. If you require any support on the day or would like more information please call Janet Simpson on (01427) 617313.
