Building Grant Schemes Privacy Notice

The following information provides details on how we may collect use and where appropriate share personal information in relation to the Council's Business Grant schemes including but not limited to Townscape Heritage Initiative, Living over the Shops and Shopfront scheme in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The reasons we use your data

West Lindsey District Council will collect your personal information for the purposes of the delivering the relevant Business Grant scheme which may also be part funded by other organisations. This applies to all public consultation, building grant projects and the activity projects as part of the overall scheme.

Public Consultation: We will collect your name, contact details and opinions.

Building Grant Projects: We will collect your name, contact details, agents details, application details, opinions, payment information, interests, mortgage information and other grant details.

Activity Programme: We will collect your name, contact details, opinions, age and gender.

Why we are allowed to use your data

Contract and Public task under various UK laws.

How do we collect your data

We collect personal information by letter, email, telephone, online and through face to face contact with yourself, or on occasion an agreed representative of you appointed by yourself. For the building grant information is collated through an application form.

How long do we keep your personal information

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Who we can share your data with

It may be necessary to share your information with other third party organisations in order to manage the grant schemes and initiatives. These may include:

  • other council departments who are part of the administration of heritage assets
  • Heritage Lottery Fund.
  • TDR Heritage
  • Lincolnshire County Council
  • Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (GLLEP)
