On May 7 2024, we launched an innovative planning system that has streamlined our internal application process that provides customers with automated updates as their application travels through each stage.

We have introduced a new public portal that offers:

  • access to all information on one platform – weekly lists, tree applications and appeals
  • review any planning application and status changes
  • provides comprehensive overview of applications
  • advanced search features for in-depth detail on specific parameters
  • submit and view comments and consultation responses with easy document and attachment uploads
  • The My Application feature allows customers to tag applications of interest and track accordingly for easy access

NB – to submit a comment or use the MyApplication features customers will need to create an account.

We appreciate your understanding during the early stages of implementation and apologise for any disruption this may cause.

Guidance on navigating, viewing and searching applications

Our new system contains live and new applications from 26 April 2024. Meaning there is a need to provide our customers with previous information. We are working with our developers to combine the two platforms, eliminating the need to search in two places.

Our public portal now provides you with the functionality to view weekly lists, appeals and tree applications in one place. This public portal relates to information received after 26 April 2024.

Comment on planning applications

The easiest and quickest way to comment on a planning application is to submit comments on a planning application via our online form.

The decisions process

All decision notices are available on line and if you have made comments on an application you can find out the outcome by looking up the application on our planning application search page.
