Evidence base and monitoring

These pages contain a variety of assessments, reports and other technical documents that have been prepared to help shape future development in the District. These will enable decisions to be made that will control the location, amount and type of development necessary to ensure that the District grows in a sustainable way.

Authority Monitoring Report

The Authority Monitoring Report is produced annually and covers the previous financial year from the 1 April to the 31 March. The report identifies the progress made on the production of policy documents set out in the Local Development Scheme.

Current Five Year Land Supply

The latest Central Lincolnshire Five Year Land Supply Report for 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2028 (published October 2023) is now available to download.

Landscape Character Assessment

This technical document makes an assessment of the special character, distinctiveness and quality of the different landscape types within the district. It was prepared in 1999 by Environmental Resources Management (ERM).

Strategic Flood Risk Assessment

“Development and Flood Risk” outlines how flood risk issues should be addressed in regional planning guidance and Local Authorities’ development plans.

Brownfield Register

The Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017 introduced a requirement for each local planning authority in England to maintain a register of previously developed land within their area for housing development.
