Cycling

There is so much to see in West Lindsey and a great way of experiencing this is by cycling. With cycle routes to suit all abilities from 2.5 to 46 miles on flat to hilly terrain, it is the perfect place to get out your bike.

The Cycling in West Lindsey website has a range of cycle routes through the district and the National Cycle Network is also a useful source of additional information.

Information about cycle routes in the Lincolnshire Wolds which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) can be viewed on Love Lincolnshire Wolds website.

Willingham Woods on the eastern edge of Market Rasen, is the perfect setting for walking and cycling. Many of the circular routes from Market Rasen use the  National cycle Route 1 as a base.

The Lindsey Trail is a 69 mile trail across the Lincolnshire Wolds. Suitable for carriage drivers, horse riders, cyclists and walkers it extends from Willingham Woods in the north to Horncastle in the south.
