If you have small quantities of white asbestos to dispose of, then Lincolnshire County Council offer a service whereby residents can take up to two bags per year to designated Household Waste Recycling Centres. The most convenient one for West Lindsey residents is the site on Great Northern Terrace in Lincoln. More information can be found on Lincolnshire County Council’s hazardous waste web page

If you cannot make use of the above services, then West Lindsey District Council can collect small quantities (less than 10kgs) of domestic hazardous waste such as those listed above. This waste must not exceed one standard size bin bag. There is no charge for this service.

You can request a free domestic hazardous waste collection, limited to one collection per year, by completing the online application form. Lengths of asbestos guttering fall outside of this free collection service and we will have to quote you for removal of this waste.

If the waste to be collected is above the 10kgs limit or more than one bin bag, we can quote for removal/disposal of this waste.

If you require a quote for collection/disposal then please contact customer services.
