In order to qualify for a larger black (refuse) bin there must be at least 4 residents in your household and you must be recycling all you can.
Before requesting a larger black bin, please consider how much of this waste is recyclable as we would prefer to issue you with a blue mixed recycling bin or a purple lidded bin for paper and cardboard. All waste from black bins is sent for incineration and has a carbon impact which should be reduced where possible.
Please be aware that there is now a charge for supplying wheeled bins.
