Examination of the CIL
An Examination of the proposals has now been held by an Examiner from the Planning Inspectorate.
Notice was given in accordance with the Community Infrastructure Levy 2010 (as amended) Regulation 21(8), of the West Lindsey District Council, Community Infrastructure Levy, Draft Charging Schedule examination. The Hearing Session for the Examination of the West Lindsey CIL Charging Schedule took place on Thursday 2nd March 2017 and was held at City Hall, City of Lincoln Council Offices Beaumont Fee, Lincoln, LN1 1DD.

Matthew Birkinshaw BA (Hons) MSc MRTPI has been appointed as the Examiner.
The Council has appointed Hannah Charlish as the independent Programme Officer for the examination to assist the Examiner and liaise with the Council and participants.

Relevant Dates and Deadlines
Monday 23 January 2017 – publication of the Matters, Issues and Questions for Examination
Monday 6 February 2017 – deadline for any comments on the MIQs and for confirming with the Programme Officer whether you intend to attend the Hearing session
Monday 20 February 2017 – deadline for submission of Hearing Statements
Thursday 2nd March 2017 – Hearing session commences.
After the Hearing Session - The Examiner is now considering all of the information before him from the submission, representations and information gathered at the Hearing Session.
