The national ability to set a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) came into force in April 2010. It allows local authorities in England and Wales to raise funds for a wide range of infrastructure that is needed as a result of development. This can include transport, education and potentially many other themes. The funding is levied from developers undertaking new building projects in their area.
Representations using the response form on this page are invited via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively they can be sent to the postal address below clearly marked 'CIL consultation'. Please note that this is the final stage for making representations before the charging schedule is submitted for independent examination. Representations made will be sent to the examiner and will be made public.
The following documents are attached to this page and form part of the consultation:
The above consultation documents will also be available to view throughout the consultation at the main Council offices at: WLDC, Guildhall, Marshall's Yard, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, DN21 2NA.
As stated above, the schedules are, in legal terms, separate to each other and to the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan. The relevant documents have been developed in parallel and in many cases to a common evidence base. The schedules have been developed within the context of the following documents available on the Central Lincolnshire webpage.
