Morton Neighbourhood Plan

Morton Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group is inviting comments on its Draft Morton Neighbourhood Plan. This is a formal consultation in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (Regulation 14) and it will run until Monday 2 March 2020. The plan area is shown in the Plan document on the policy summary sheet.

The completion of the Draft Neighbourhood Plan follows two previous informal consultations with statutory bodies and other interested parties in July 2019 (a general notification) and November 2019 (on the Draft Purpose and Objectives).
The Draft Plan, including a simple Proposals Map, along with a series of background/evidence documents can be viewed at Morton Parish Council/morton-neighbourhood-plan - see the blue tab (8 - bottom right) for the Plan Document and blues tabs (1 to 7 ) for the related documents. In addition, a policy summary sheet for easy cross-reference is provided below.

The external consultation is running in parallel with a local community consultation, including a newsletter/questionnaire and two exhibitions at which you would be welcomed to attend if you wish. For your comments you may use the questionnaire available on the parish council’s website but a written email response is preferred addressed to Clive Keble on behalf of Morton Parish Council. Please do not hesitate to contact him with any general questions or technical queries either by email or phone:
