Here at West Lindsey, TCV helps connect people with place, builds healthy sustainable communities and environments while also increasing peoples life skills.
TCV also lends a helping hand to protect and enhance, urban and rural landscapes.
The activities that TCV offers include woodland management, tree planting, hedge-laying, footpath construction and pond creation and many more projects.
TCV supports 140,000 volunteers a year taking hands-on action to improve their urban and rural environments, and a community network that supports local groups. TCV offers regular conservation tasks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also organise weekend Natural Break working holidays.
Trained leaders will provide all the necessary guidance, even for complete beginners! Please bring stout footwear, suitable work clothes and some lunch. We provide hot drinks and biscuits, all necessary tools and training.
Where possible we welcome under 16’s accompanied by a responsible adult, (But please call to arrange beforehand).
Come along for a healthy day out, have some fun and meet new people.
We also run a Volunteer Officer scheme in which we offer a structured training programme taking in leadership, project management and practical skills including first aid, minibus driving and machinery permits.
