We recognise that fair and effective enforcement is essential to protect the economic interests and health and safety of the public, businesses and the environment. This policy sets out what the public, businesses and others being regulated by the Council can expect from enforcement officers.
This policy commits us to good enforcement policies and procedures and is supplemented by additional policies and statements of service standards relating to the specific enforcement service areas.
