This report summarises the views of the respondents of the budget consultation 2016/17, carried out in November 2016 with consultation events and surveys undertaken with residents, Parish Councils and West Lindsey District Council Members. With reduced budgets from central government it is critical that resources are directed in a way that benefits residents and meets their needs and priorities. The cover letter accompanying the questionnaire introduced the survey’s aim to give residents a say in their local area and about local services and this was also explained at the beginning of the events held.
