Lincolnshire County Council Elections 4 May 2017

All of Lincolnshire County Councils 70 seats are up for election on Thursday 4 May 2017.

Nine of those seats are within the West Lindsey District Council administrative area.  The Returning Officer for West Lindsey District Council will, therefore, be responsible for the organisation and administration of the election for those nine seats on behalf of the County Council.

If you are thinking about, or are interested in becoming a councillor, we are holding an open meeting on Thursday 9 March 2017 at 5.30pm in the Council Chamber at the Guildhall, Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough DN21 2NA.  We will be presenting a short briefing on the election process and answering any questions you may have.

To be eligible to become a councillor you need to be over 18 years of age and have a connection with the county area such as being on the electoral register or having lived here for at least a year.

If you would like more information please contact Celia Chapman, Senior Elections Officer on 01427 676575 or ereg@west-lindsey.gov.uk
