All of Lincolnshire County Councils 70 seats are up for election on Thursday 4 May 2017. Nine of those seats are within the West Lindsey District Council administrative area. The Returning Officer for West Lindsey District Council will, therefore, be responsible for the organisation and administration of the election for those nine seats on behalf of the County Council.

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Thursday 13 April 2017. Register on-line at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
New applications to vote by post, amendments to existing postal votes or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April, 2017.
New applications to vote by proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2017.
Emergency proxy applications, due to medical emergency or one relating to a service or work reason which occurs after 5pm on Tuesday 25 April, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 4 May.
