Wednesday 19 July - Publication of Notice of Poll    

Tuesday 11 July, midnight - Last day for receipt of applications to register to vote

Wednesday 12 July, 5pm - Last day for receipt of new postal vote applications

Wednesday 12 July, 5pm - Last day to change absent vote arrangements

Wednesday 19 July, 5pm - Last day for receipt of new proxy vote applications        

Thursday 20 July - Last day to appoint polling and counting agents

Friday 21 July - First day to apply for replacement postal ballot papers (lost, spoilt or not received)   

Thursday 27 July, 7am to 10pm - Polling Day

Thursday 27 July, 5pm - Last day for receipt of emergency proxy vote applications

Thursday 27 July, 5pm - Last day to apply for replacement postal ballot papers

Thursday 27 July, 10pm - Verification and Count (candidates and agents only)

By-election Voting

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Tuesday 11 July 2017. Register on-line at GOV.UK/register-to-vote

Postal Votes

New applications to vote by post, amendments to existing postal votes or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 12 July 2017.

Proxy Votes

New applications to vote by proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 19 July 2017.

Emergency proxy applications, due to medical emergency or one relating to a service or work reason which occurs after 5pm on Wednesday 19 July 2017, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 27 July 2017.

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Monday 14 August 2017. Register on-line at GOV.UK/register-to-vote

Postal Votes
