Trinity Arts Centre is the only venue in Lincolnshire to install a new sound system – which mirrors the quality being rolled out in the West End!

The audio equipment, used for shows such as the Lion King on Broadway, is now available for shows in Gainsborough, including our incredible pantomime, Mother Goose, currently being written by BBC children’s writer, Ian Billings.

West Lindsey District Council, which runs the arts centre, has invested in the new KV2 Audio equipment, demonstrating its commitment to customers.

West Lindsey District Councillor, Cllr Jessie Milne, who is a big supporter of Trinity Arts Centre said: “We want to ensure audiences get the best possible experience when visiting us and this sound system is yet another proof of our commitment to the centre.

“Over the last few years, we have invested in new seating, a screen, lighting and changes to the inside of the building. Our Centre manager has been working hard to attract household names to the centre and our staff and dedicated volunteers have been working hard to ensure we offer a great service at our wonderful grade II listed building.

“Our silver screenings have been very popular, as we pride ourselves on being a venue which brings our people together.”

Be among the first to experience the new sounds by booking on to one of our shows, which are all available to book now. Why not secure your place at this year’s pantomime!

The new system is scientifically engineered to cancel out ear numbing, allowing for high quality audio without impacting on hearing. It has replaced the cinema audio, which benefits shows such as the Bohemian Rhapsody, offering quality audio performances.

Craig Sanders, Trinity Arts Centre Manager, explained the sound system means the centre is now capable of holding outdoor concerts for to up to 4,000 people.

He said: “We’re really excited to be the only venue in Lincolnshire using KV2. Having incredible sound is at the core of creating immersive, engaging performances for our audiences. Using KV2, which has such a good reputation internationally, will have a real positive impact on our shows and ensure all our performances sound exactly how they are intended to.”

KV2 Audio is fast becoming the number one sound manufacturer in both the UK and international market. They have recently signed 20 contracts on the West End.
