20 four and five bedroom architect-designed detached homeshave been successfully completed in Bigby, near Brigg, by award-winning developers Cyden Homes.

The homes at Pingley Park have all been sold within 2 years – far exceeding the developers’ expectations. Several of the sales were from buyers making good use of the ‘Help to buy’ scheme, a Government initiative set up to help home buyers step onto or rise up the property ladder.

The local award-winning developers, Cyden Homes, prioritised the use of local material suppliers and tradespeople throughout this development.

Peter Bond, sales and marketing director for Cyden Homes was thrilled to announce that all homes have now been sold. He said: “We are so pleased that all homes in phase 1 of the development have sold over a two year period, and delighted that several of the homes were purchased with the assistance of the Government supported Help to Buy scheme.”

He added: “We have enjoyed a superb relationship with West Lindsey and North East Lincs Building Control on this development – they have been supportive throughout, have reacted with urgency to our queries and requests and have been thoroughly professional in our dealing with them. We look forward to working with them again in the future”.

The high specification cul-de-sac development, some enjoying wide-ranging rural views, includes luxury features such as bespoke kitchens, fitted wardrobes and vanity units. The properties also benefit from spectacular countryside to the boundary, and are a stone’s throw from the fabulous Brigg Garden Centre.

Phase 2 of the scheme, to the rear of phase 1, has now been submitted for planning for a further 13 detached homes, some featuring stunning views of the Wolds.

Cllr Jessie Milne, Housing Champion for West Lindsey was delighted to hear that the project had been completed, she said: “The properties at Pingley Park are an exceptional example of quality built homes, and I’m delighted to see another housing development completed in the district.”

West Lindsey District Council’s building control team have been the inspecting authority for Cyden Homes on the development.

Phillip Westmorland, interim lead surveyor at West Lindsey District Council was invited to look around the finished development off Bigby High Road near Brigg.

He said: “It is great to be invited to see the completed project, it is evident that a lot of care and consideration has gone into the design and construction of the project.

“We were very impressed with the consistently high standards at Pingley Park, Cyden Homes are renowned for offering homes with a high specification – and this development is no exception.”

Ian Short, consultant surveyor for North East Lincolnshire Council Building Control was delighted to be a part of the project through the Local Authority Partnership Scheme.

He said: “North East Lincolnshire/Engie Building Control are once again happy to participate in conjunction with Cyden Homes and West Lindsey Building Control in the Pingley Camp Development near Brigg. The scheme has provided a successful platform for all stakeholders to achieve Building Regulations compliance.”

Cyden Homes are keen to develop plans for further developments in West Lindsey, and look forward to beginning their next projects at Kirton in Lindsey, Healing and Dunholme.

The developers have already won multiple awards for their exceptional builds, such as The Local Authority Building Control “Building Excellence Award” in both 2015 and 2017.
