Trinity Arts Centre Family Fun Day 2019

Join us at the Trinity Arts Centre for a fun-packed day of family Activities at the annual Family Fun Day!

West Lindsey District Council has worked together with and the Future 4 Me team at Lincolnshire County Council and Lincolnshire Police, to put together an exciting day of free activities at the Trinity Arts Centre.

Children and their families and friends from across the district are invited to the event on Thursday 15 August to take part in outdoor games, arts & crafts, refreshments and much more!

Cllr Steve England, Chairman of West Lindsey District Council, is looking forward to attending the event.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to the family fun day. It will be a wonderful opportunity for young people and families in our community to have a great day out. It great to see a lot of support for the day, I’m eager to attend what will no doubt be another busy day, I’m excited to have a go on the hook-a-duck myself!”

Shayleen Towns, Senior Community Action Officer at West Lindsey District Council, has been working closely with other organisations to ensure the event is a success.

She said: “We have some really exciting activities taking place this year which families will love. Often, keeping the little ones entertained over the summer holiday period can be a challenge to families, but this free event filled with activities will be a great day out for children and parents alike – more is being confirmed as we speak.”

Activities available on the day include:

  • Smoothie making

  • Under 5’s play area

  • Outdoor games

  • Speed shot

  • Family entertainment

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Hook-a-duck

The emergency services will be attending the event too.
