Finding work for one client in a day, helping a company recruit a temporary worker within 24 hours and now employing an experienced Sales and Marketing Assistant to the team.

This recent track record and commitment to build on success is why recruitment agency SureStaff remains one of the highest reputable recruitment companies for local residents in the Gainsborough area.

Manager Ray Hall, who has been in the recruitment agency for over 20-years, is passionate about getting people in work – and keeping them there.

He said: “We are a local agency who put our candidates first, we’re about getting people back into work and staying in work.

“We prefer to meet candidates face to face in order to match them to a job they’ll enjoy and thrive in. Longevity of employment is our objective.”

This commitment and passion to get people into work was seen in evidence with previous client Claire Stockdale.

Claire was a client back in 2018 – approaching SureStaff when in need of work. What she didn’t expect however, was that she would have a job at a local authority within 24 hours.

Claire said: “I would highly recommend Surestaff, they found me the perfect job instantly! Ray was quick to understand the kind of role I was looking for, my strengths and putting me forward for exactly the right position. Within 4 hours of receiving my C.V. I had an interview and one-day later I was offered the position. Thank you for opening the door to an exciting new chapter in my career!”

Evidence can also be found of the commitment to help keep people in work – as told by ex- client Gary Stephenson.

Gary Stephenson, Operations Manager for local firm Kern-Liebers, approached Surestaff following a change in circumstance at their factory.

He said: “We contacted Surestaff and a few hours later we were discussing our situation. Within 24 hours they had found us a temporary worker and he was on the shop floor like he had always been here. The following week we took a second person.

“By far the part that struck me the most was how much care they had for the placements and how they truly understood the importance of the right person for the right role.”

Building on the success built up over the past few years, Ray has now brought in Sales and Marketing Assistant, Abbie Hill, bringing with her a wealth of experience to add to the company and further help local people with job support.

Graduating from the University of Hull in 2020 with a first class honour degree in Youth Work and Community Development, Abbie has since gathered experience with North Lincolnshire Council, working first in the Economic Development Team and then as an Operational Support Clerk, and then with John Leggott College as an Academic Advocate.

This wealth of experience has meant that Abbie will be able to offer excellent client support at SureStaff, as she seeks to build the companies’ reputation and audience on social media in particular.

Abbie said: “I’m hoping to build on the company’s successes, get more people in through the door and offer them wrap-around support in finding the right role.”

If you are looking for that little bit of help securing work, or you are looking for some support due to a change of circumstance at your workplace, find out more information on the SureStaff website - where you can also search for available jobs and book appointments with one of their specialists.
