Customer services

We aim at West Lindsey District Council to deliver an excellent service to our customers. All of our staff are guided by core values and behaviours that support providing good services to customers.

We have in place a Customer Services team that is solely dedicated to the delivery of good customer services either directly or by involving the most appropriate expert we have.

Team Manager Lyn Marlow, and her team of Customer Services staff, are based at the Guildhall in Gainsborough.

Your council - our commitment

Serving our customers is what we at West Lindsey District Council are here to do.

All staff are guided by a framework of standards, values and a customer charter that support good services to customers. We want our customers to have a positive experience. We want to meet their need or concern.

Services for people with a visual or hearing impairment

There are 13.9 million disabled people in the UK today, which is 20.9% of the population.

Producing information in a way that all our customers can read is fair, makes business sense and is the law. Because a customer has a disability does not mean that they are not capable of making decisions and leading independent lives.

We work hard to make sure we provide choice to our customers and that staff understand the importance of listening and meeting different customer needs.

Induction loops

Our offices have in built audio induction loops, or if you contact us before your visit, we can arrange a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter for when you visit us in person
