How we can help your business grow:

  • Business introductions and meetings with our Management Team

  • Support with finance, training and apprenticeships
  • Bespoke 1-2-1 business support

Housing Zone

Promoting the redevelopment of a number of derelict and disused brownfield sites with Greater Gainsborough and along the riverfront under the Housing Zone initiative.

Invest Gainsborough

There has never been a better time to invest in Gainsborough – and now it is even easier for investors to find out what the area has to offer.

Economic Strategy

An Economic Growth Strategy has been prepared and approved by our Prosperous Communities Committee. It sets out the overall vision for the growth and prosperity of our District over the next 20 years.

Levelling Up Fund

Our longer term ambitions are to build on the successful implementation of Thriving Gainsborough 2024 and further transformation is planned, including improving connectivity between the town centre and train station and connectivity across Lincolnshire and surrounding counties.

Economic Recovery Plan

The Economic Recovery Plan intends to recognise the contribution of West Lindsey District Council and its partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors who, over the past 18 months due to COVID-19, have joined forces in an exceptional effort to provide vital support to our business community and local economy.

Visitor Economy Strategy

The West Lindsey Visitor Economy Strategy and Action Plan is about adding value and stimulating the growth and development of the district's visitor economy.

RAF Scampton

A landmark deal has been agreed which will see the council purchase the former RAF base from the Ministry of Defence and in a back-to-back arrangement transfer ownership to Scampton Holdings Limited through a Development Agreement.
