Lea Fields Crematorium have launched a new virtual memorial service to commemorate the life of your loved one.

If you have chosen a Direct Cremation, this personalised service will allow you to reflect and watch your loved one’s final journey at your own pace. The (non-attended) service can be made all the more meaningful by incorporating your chosen music, personal photos and a poetry reading from our library.

This personalised virtual tribute ensures a meaningful and lasting commemoration of your loved one’s life. Just like attending a service, the Virtual Memorial Service can give closure to families, offering another way to say goodbye.

What’s included?

  • Virtually follow the journey through the serene grounds of Lea Fields Crematorium.
  • A chosen a photo is featured as a focal point for reflection.
  • Witness the coffin arriving for the committal.
  • Honour them with a poem for a poignant moment of reflection during the committal.
  • Cherish the moment with your choice of music.
  • Personalise the service further with a photo slideshow of your loved one.

Within three working days of the direct cremation service, the virtual memorial will be ready to download in 3 days through a secure and unique link sent to your email of choice.

Cllr Emma Bailey who represents Lea at West Lindsey District Council said:

“The new Virtual Memorial Service is dedicated to celebrating the lives of loved ones who have passed away. They are a personal keepsake for family and friends to share special memories. With the experience and knowledge from the team at Lea Fields Crematorium, they can help you make the choices you are comfortable with.”

As previously reported, due to increased pressure on household finances and media advertising, Direct Cremations are becoming a popular choice for individuals and families planning a funeral.
