The Local Land Charges team at West Lindsey District Council has won the award of Local Land Authority Searches Team of the Year at the Land Data Local Land Charges Annual Awards 2023.

The award acknowledges the dedication and hard work carried out by the team and recognises their collaborative working with other teams throughout the authority.

Deborah Chapman, Senior Technical Administrator as part of the Local Land Charges team, said:

“We have turned our service around and during that time we have transformed how we work together. We’ve had a few challenges thrown our way, but we’ve overcome them together and that really made the difference in us winning the award.”

Deborah said the award recognised the service the team provides and its consistency in turning it around, which has resulted in the team coming out on top.

“It’s that recognition and hard work we have all put into as a team and being an award-winning service.”

Nova Roberts, Director of Change Management, ICT and Regulatory Services, explained that the team have responded positively to change and overcome challenges well. She said:

“They are a really focused team who are delivering an excellent service that’s also efficient for our customers and their businesses. I’m delighted they have been recognised with this award and I am so proud of them too.”

A huge congratulations on your achievement!
