Clare Kendall is an award-winning bookkeeper based in Lincolnshire. She takes the hassle out of your everyday accounting so that you can get on with what you do best – running your business.

As a sole trader, Clare runs all aspects of the business - from dealing with clients right through to marketing. Most of the time she’s kept busy with her clients' bookkeeping and preparing self-assessment tax returns. She also often helps people use simple mobile-based apps to make quoting and invoicing a doddle.

She said:

“I love to help people understand the numbers in the business, and also to give them back their evening and weekends by taking away a job they usually hate.”

What Clare loves most of all is the flexibility of her work, meaning she has more time to spend with her young family.

When she’s not busy number crunching, Clare loves to run and can be found running in her local area most weeks. She enjoys the outdoors and tries to get out when she can for a walk or cycle. She also enjoys yoga and snowboarding when she gets the chance!

Clare is very much a community person and is a member of the Caistor GO2 Environmental Group. They plant trees, hold eco events and raise awareness of environmental issues. She also likes to get involved in the repair café and helps with the running of community clothes, books and toy swaps.
