Love Local this Valentines

Love Local, Think Local

Share the love and support local business this Valentines season. Whether you use your local florist or jewellers, every penny you spend goes back to supporting your local high street.

To support local business, West Lindsey District Council are launching a Valentine’s window display via their social media channels.

All you have to do is snap a picture of your Valentines window display and post it on your profile and tag West Lindsey District Council and #LoveLocalWestLindsey to be in with a chance to win. Posts that are not tagged will not be included.

The business with the most likes will be the winner so make sure you get your followers to like and share your creative work!

The winner will be announced on Friday 18 February and will be featured at the top of the West Lindsey Think Local directory plus a copy of Clare Bailey's ‘The Retail Champion – 10-steps to retail success’.

Free Valentines Business Webinar

Businesses are also invited to a free one-hour session with UK retail expert, Clare Bailey, designed to help businesses get involved in this year's Valentine's season.

Have the chance to discuss fun and engaging activities plus learn how to reach your customers through social media. Clare has also been working with West Lindsey District Council since October 2020 to support local independent businesses most impacted by the pandemic.

For more information or to book your place, visit the booking page on Eventbrite.

This follows the recent launch of Local Rewards in West Lindsey, an initiative by Maybe* that aims to attract shoppers back to the high street through a live and interactive online guide. The initiative also supports businesses through free access to a digital platform, training and support to help them reach more customers and make more sales.

For more information visit the Local Rewards website.

The West Lindsey Social Media guide is also now available for free!
