Free expert advice is being offered to businesses in West Lindsey to help them maximise return from the holiday season!
Clare Bailey, founder of the Retail Champion, has teamed up with West Lindsey District Council to offer support to businesses in the district.
With the lockdown and subsequent tier restrictions in 2020, Christmas trade never happened for most businesses. We want to make sure Christmas 2021 trade is something to celebrate.
The purpose of these sessions is to ensure businesses are ready to maximise sales and revenue opportunities.
Clare said: “In preparation for Christmas, We are now offering four free webinars, to help businesses prepare for a strong festive and winter season.
In light of the recent announcement around the Covid Winter Plan, these webinars are designed to help prepare businesses across West Lindsey for any changes to restrictions, and no matter what happens, to focus on maximising sales and profitability this Christmas.”
The sessions will explore the following:
- Consider the necessity to have plans in place to preserve your customer experience and to ensure customers feel safe if restrictions do change.
- Focus on how to promote your business via digital channels to maximise reach and engagement, especially given stats tell us 71% of people are spending around 3hrs a day scrolling social media!
- Discuss marketing to both businesses and consumers, to encourage people to shop, spend, eat, drink or stay locally, in a safe environment, to support West Lindsey businesses.
- Look at how you can tap into Black Friday, a now well-established consumer event, no matter what your business type
Cllr Owen Bierley, Leader of the Council said: “We are pleased to be working with Clare Bailey as she has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the sector and we hope these webinars will be of huge value to businesses across the district. The sessions have been arranged at times we hope will be suitable for the majority of businesses in each sector. However they will be recorded as we appreciate it is impossible to pick a time that will suit everyone.”
Businesses are being urged to still book onto the session even if they cannot make the time, as this will guarantee they get a copy of the recording.
In addition businesses are more than welcome to join more than one session especially if they have mixed business types (e.g. run a pub and restaurant with accommodation).
