Business Revival Grant Fund

Outside of the Guildhall, Marshall's Yard, Gainsborough

City of Lincoln Council and West Lindsey District Council will be launching a new Business Revival Grant Fund on Monday 26 April 2021.

The grant is aimed at supporting businesses to reopen, recover and prosper.

It is the latest initiative in a programme of support to assist businesses to respond to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. This support is in addition to the Restart Grants and previous Local Restrictions Support Grants.

Businesses can apply for up to £5,000 to help them to adapt, diversify and to support long-term sustainability. The types of measures that could be supported includes:

  • 1-2-1 specialist advice to address immediate needs in response to Covid-19 – e.g. digital or sector specialists;

  •  Purchase of equipment to adapt business processes – e.g. sanitising stations or equipment to support movement of business activities outside;

  • To adopt new technology to deliver or diversify business activities – e.g. e-commerce platforms, contactless payments, hardware/software to support remote working;
  • To develop or purchase new environmentally-friendly products or energy-efficient equipment that will reduce waste and promote the transition to a low carbon economy

A total of £500,000 for each Council has been ring-fenced to support businesses through this scheme, with funding from the Additional Restrictions Grant awarded to local authorities.

Businesses should visit their local authority website (City of Lincoln or West Lindsey) from Monday 26 April for further details and for the application and assessment process.

Further information on support for businesses can be found on the City of Lincoln support pages or West Lindsey Coronavirus: Support for businesses pages
