Grant scheme to close at end of calendar year

A grant scheme administered by West Lindsey District Council to help those affected by flooding in November 2019, will close at the end of this calendar year.

The DEFRA November 2019 Property Flood Resilience Grant Scheme was extended in recognition of the challenges imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic, to give homeowners and businesses more time to carry out repairs, as well as giving local authorities a greater period to process grants.

As a result, the scheme will now close on 31 December 2021, with the Council closing claim activity at 12 noon on 10 December 2021.
