Garden Waste Consultation 2024

Our subscription-based garden waste service is now into its seventh year and we were keen to hear your views on the service as our customers, in order to understand if the current offer needs to change. The service is very popular with well over 25,000 residents each year subscribing. The level of subscription is set in order that the council recovers its costs from providing the service, we do not make a profit from the income we receive or from selling the material we collect. This engagement exercise aimed to understand residents views about the current service and the results will be presented to our elected members who will make decisions about how the service will be in future years.

To view the frequently asked questions for the current service please see our Garden Waste frequently asked questions page.
