West Lindsey District Council has secured the support of Clare Bailey, a Lincolnshire-based independent business advisor, to help businesses to navigate there way through the current situation and to help ensure you are recovery-ready!

Following a very successful online session around “10-steps to retail success”, we are planning to deliver 4 additional webinars / workshops, by way of extended support for businesses in West Lindsey.
These sessions are open to businesses across the district – from online only and market traders, to start-ups and established. They will all be approximately 1 hour and aim to be fast paced, engaging, interactive and to provide you with a wealth of take-away resources, including the recording of the session and a PDF of the slides (including the activities to apply to your business).

An interactive session during which we can collectively develop a template during the session, which will be shared afterwards, so that everyone who takes part can develop that further for the benefit of their business

For information, the sessions will be delivered via Zoom, but you can access this by following a simple link. You can watch / listen on any internet enabled device, although one with a larger screen is better. Register anyway, and whether you manage to attend or not, you will still receive the pack and recording, so if something else comes up, like demands of home-schooling, don’t worry.
To provide help to our small-business community, West Lindsey District Council has partnered with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), who are able to provide smaller businesses in the district with information to respond to the challenges they are facing due to COVID-19.
Membership benefits include: free business banking, 24/7 legal advice, HR support, tax guidance, late payment and financial help, insurances, health and safety information plus healthcare.

VisitBritain / VisitEngland have also created a Covid-19 Advice Hub for tourism and event businesses. They are feeding in industry concerns to Government via the Tourism Industry Emergency Response Group and will be sharing practical advice as soon as it becomes available, publishing the latest announcements and industry information on this page. You can also keep up to date locally through Visit Lincoln.
