From Thursday 24 September 2020, the NHS Test and Trace app will be live in England.
The app will allow you check in at venues that display their unique QR code and get notifications should you come in to contact with anyone who has tested positive for covid-19.
You can also check your symptoms, book a free test, read the latest guidance and start a countdown if you are asked to isolate.
Download the Test and Trace app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
For more information about the Test and Trace app see the GOV.UK NHS Test and Trace webpages. If you do not have access to the app, businesses are asked to provide a paper system to provide your details manually.
Displaying a NHS Test and Trace QR code
There are a number of businesses that are required to display an official NHS QR poster. For example, where customers and visitors spend a longer time in one place and potentially come into close contact with other people outside of their household.
A manual paper system should be provided for customers who do have access to the app.
Read the full guidance and find out if you need to display a poster on the GOV.UK Maintaining records to support NHS Test and Trace webpages.
