Lincolnshire County Council provides around 68,000 street lights which primarily light the public highway. West Lindsey District Council provides around 1,100 parish lights to light footpaths and open public spaces.

Requesting a new parish light
We can consider requests for new parish lights. Typically this type of request would come from a Parish or Town Council. Our Parish Lighting Policy provides more details about the process we have for reviewing new requests.
We do not currently provide any funding for new parish lights. This means any new request will need to include identified funding for its installation and ongoing operation and maintenance.
To request a new parish light please contact us via email with details of your proposal. We will then contact you to discuss in more detail and arrange a site visit if required.

We are unable to respond to faults by email, report a street light fault to Lincolnshire County Council.
