Safer Food, Better Business Management Packs

Safer food, better business (SFBB) management packs are to help small businesses with food safety management procedures and food hygiene regulations.

Your business can keep and complete records on a computer, or print them out for filling in.  Please be aware that not having a food safety management procedure or diary records in place will have a negative impact on your food safety rating.

Using the diary

There are two options to how you use the diary:

Electronically: Download the diary pages onto your device, fill them in and store them electronically.

Paper copies: Print out the diary and fill it in. There is also a diary refill you can use when you need more pages.

You should store all your completed diary pages safely - electronically or on paper - until your next visit from a local authority food safety officer. They may want to look at your diary pages as well as your SFBB Caterers pack.

     

Getting SFBB (Caterers) Packs and Diary Refill Packs

You can download or print off packs from the Food Standards Agency: Safer food, better business for caterers webpage or you can order paper copies of the above packs from West Lindsey District Council:

Safer Food, Better Business (Catering) Pack - £14.00 (Including P&P and VAT)*

(Plus 5 x 1 four week diary refill pack)

   

Annual Diary Pack - £8.00 (Including P&P and VAT)*

(12 x 1 four week diary refill pack)

You can order your SFBB/Diary pack from WLDC online. Alternatively you can call customer services or visit the Guildhall during office hours.

Online and telephone requests will usually be dispatched within 5 working days.
