Please note that the previous Council Tax Energy Rebate Schemes for £150 which used Council Tax records closed on Wednesday 30 November 2022.  No late applications are able to be paid.

We have been advised that the Government intend to launch a new scheme in January 2023 for an Energy Bill Support Scheme.

Applications may only be made, centrally, via the GOV.UK website and these will then be passed to local authorities to check and make the payments of £400 to those eligible.

Applications cannot be made directly to local authorities. 

The GOV.UK application form is not yet available and we do not have any more details than that is available on their webpage.

Please do not contact us about this scheme as we have no more information.  This page will be updated as more information on this scheme becomes available.
