Under the Electoral Administration Act 2006 all local authorities must, every four years, undertake a review of polling districts and polling places for use in connection with elections held within their administrative area to ensure that all electors have such reasonable facilities for voting as are practicable in the circumstances.
The review for the West Lindsey administrative area commenced on 22 July 2011 and was completed on 21 November 2011.
