Torksey Castle was once a grand and impressive mansion. Today, only its ruined west front remains gazing across the River Trent.
Although the building is not to its original standard, it is still impressive and enchanting. Some of the rooms are still intact and it is an idyllic place to admire and enjoy.
The site is strictly private, with no public access and is only visible from the A156 road and the public footpath on the west bank of the River Trent.
