Speed Networking

As part of their business support programme, West Lindsey ED Team are very committed in enhancing the interaction with the local business community. As part of this agenda, events are organized by the Team for businesses to meet and exchange ideas and information.

The Speed networking is only one of few initiatives which has proved quite successful and where response from local businesses is always extremely high.  

What happens at an event? Attendees are arranged in two lines, one stays seated and the other moves from person to person to ensure that all the businesses get to talk to as many people as possible. In the true meaning of the word, speed is of the essence and each person having one minute to promote their business to the other. After the session normally follows a buffet lunch where people get a chance to network with the businesses they did not meet at the table.
