West Lindsey District Council operates a number pay and display car parks in Gainsborough, and several free car parks in Caistor and Market Rasen.
There are both long stay and short stay car parks for those who work in Gainsborough and also those who visit the town to shop. The locations are detailed below:
- Ship Court
- Whittons Gardens
- Bridge Street
- Guildhall
- Rear of Guildhall
- Front of Guildhall
- Roseway
- North Street
- Beaumont Street Multi-Storey
Current lists of charges are displayed by the ticket machines in all car parks. Saturday parking is now free of charge AFTER 1pm until further notice
In every car park, provision is made for Disabled Badge Holders who may park free of charge but who must display their blue badge and are asked wherever possible to use the designated bays.
Parking of motor cycles is permitted in the Multi-story car park, at no charge at Beaumont Street, Gainsborough. There is a designated area which is marked and signed on the ground floor adjacent to the lift. It is also permitted to park motorcycles in the Roseway car park, Gainsborough also at no charge, this is a designated area at the far end of the car park from the entrance next to the walk through to Market Street.
This policy is subject to amendment or change when charges and fees are reviewed.
All surface car parks are covered by monitored CCTV cameras.
