Council Performance

Performance management is at the heart of good management. For West Lindsey District Council, it helps to ensure that we are achieving what we set out to do, giving value for money and making life better for our citizens.

To support performance management, the Council must be able to measure its performance. Successful organisations measure their performance in order to know how well they are performing and identify and take action to improve.

The Council manages itself by its performance against a set of key indicators, and by monitoring the progress made against the Corporate Plan.
