Gainsborough - Roses Sports Ground

Roses sports ground is a 22 acre site on the banks of the Trent at the northern end of Gainsborough. It provides sports facilities for football, cricket and bowls which are complimented by modern changing facilities and function room.

The site also hosts a sand dressed, floodlit multi-sport Artificial Turf Pitch.  The ATP can be used as a 60 x 40 metre football or hockey pitch, or split into three sections for use as five-a-side, netball or tennis courts, all are available individually for hire. This excellent new facility benefits from floodlight coverage providing the perfect area for clubs to train.

The well equipped function room with public entertainments licence can be hired by the hour for meetings, social occasions, exercise, keep fit or dance classes.  It is fully DDA compliant, with kitchen facilities, seating for 200 people and doors out onto the field that can be linked to a marquee.

West Lindsey has incorporated the management of this site into the leisure management contract.  The leisure provider is SLM (Sports and Leisure Management Ltd).  They will be responsible for all enquiries, bookings, invoicing and grounds maintenance from 1st July 2009.  To book the facilities please contact West Lindsey Leisure Centre on  01427 615169 and ask for Julie Hardy, or email RosesAndMarshallsBookings@slm-ltd.co.uk

ROSES PLAYING FIELD USER GROUP  Twice yearly meetings are held with users of the facilities - these meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend and to have their say on any issues relating to the sports ground.  For the date of the next meeting, please contact West Lindsey Leisure Centre on  01427 615169.
