How to Provide Change of Circumstance Information

What if my situation changes?

You need to inform the Home Options Team of any change in your circumstances as this may affect your options or points on the housing register.

We will need proof of some changes in order to update your details for example…

  • If you would like to add someone to your application like a partner or new baby you will need to provide proof of ID and proof of residency for them from the Proofs Checklist below.
  • If you or your partner becomes pregnant we will need to see proof of pregnancy (maternity notes with estimated due date).
  • If your landlord has asked you to leave and served you with a written notice we will need to see the notice and we will need contact details so that we can speak to your landlord or write to them to see if anything can be done so that you can stay in your home.
  • If you move home we will need to see new proof of residency from the Proofs Checklist for all people to be re-housed.
