Terms and Conditions
1. By managing your account online you will be deemed to have agreed:-
(a) that all future demands served on you for the payment of Council Tax or National Non-Domestic Rates and any information this Council is required to serve on you with any such demand in respect of this account you have requested access to may be served on you by publication on a website;
(b) that you shall be notified by the Council of the publication of such demands and information by e-mail; and
(c) that e-mails to you will be sent to the e-mail address given by you when you requested access to this account on-line;
2. You are responsible for keeping your password secret to prevent unauthorised viewing of your account. If you suspect it has been compromised you can change it via the My Profile page of the Online Account service.
3. Unauthorised access to the e-billing service (to specific account detail level) contravenes the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and may incur criminal penalties as well as damages. Please proceed only if you are an authorised user.
4. Data held in respect of your accounts is held in accordance with Data Protection legislation in force.
5. If you no longer wish to receive your bill electronically, or wish to change your email address, please contact us via the Customer Services area of the Online Account service. Alternatively email techsupport@west-lindsey.gov.uk or telephone 01427 676676 stating the account reference from which you wish to be removed.
6. Information regarding your last statement is shown at the date the statement was produced and is subject to change. You should contact us at customer.relations@west-lindsey.gov.uk if you have any queries. You are reminded that payments are due as advised on the dates shown.
7. Payments made through the Council’s Internet payment service will normally be credited to your account up to two business days after they are made online. You should bear this in mind and also check the exact amount you are paying is correct.
