Help to Pay Council Tax

At West Lindsey District Council we are committed to providing services which meet our customer’s needs. This innovative style of working has led to a transformation in the way in which we administer claims to both Housing and Council Tax Benefit.

We are now encouraging benefit applicants to visit one of our offices (either the Guildhall, Gainsborough or Festival Hall, Market Rasen) to make a claim. Here one of our Benefit Assessors will complete the benefit form with you and personally advise of the documents that we require in order to get your claim in payment (another visit may be required if all the evidence cannot be provided in the first instance).

If you are unable to visit one of our offices please contact us on 01427 676565 or fill in your contact details on the Benefits Appointment Request form linked to below. An assessor will call you straight back so we can offer the same service to you over the telephone. An appointment will be arranged at your convenience in order to complete the claim form and collate the evidence that we need to assess your claim.
