Introduction

This is the West Lindsey District Council’s Geographic Information System “Aurora”. You have access to all the basic tools, maps and information.  Which includes a unique print feature which allows the results of the data to be printed in addition to the map.

This is a very new site and on-going development and enhancements are constantly being carried out.  

Enter your own address in here…. (Enter postcode, …)

and it will remember it for the next time you access Aurora.

Help & Hints

1. Use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out or use the compass +/-. And hold the left mouse button down to move your map around.  A new scale zoom tool will be added soon.
2. Click on the captions My Property / Report It / Apply for It/ Find Nearest to move between functions.
3. After viewing results/information click on caption to return to that function, i.e “My Property”
4. When you select a function on the left pane it may take a few seconds to load the results/data.  When information is displayed there often are more details.  By clicking on the results pane, it may expand to provide further data.
5. When using the Report It or Apply for It functions this will produce an on-line form for you to complete, if the request is for your house, just click on “use my address” and it will complete the appropriate fields for you. The yellow fields are mandatory.
6. Your own house will automatically be saved for you to return to the next time you use Aurora, if you want to change this saved location, just click on Change It.
