The Development Management Team makes decisions on planning applications.
We recommend that before you submit your application you contact us for what we call ‘Pre-development Advice’. This is a chargeable service but means that before apply you can get reliable advice from a Planning Officer about how your scheme should be designed. We can help you with the application itself and will guide you through the steps you need to take to provide you with a better customer experience.
Also within this section you can view the steps that are taken in making planning decisions and the forms you will need to make an application.
To speak to a Planning Officer please contact : 01427 676 676 (please select the ‘planning’ option) or e-mail: planning.customer.care@west-lindsey.gov.uk. You can also obtain independent planning advice from the Planning Portal, an online Government-backed source of great planning information. This site will also let you submit your application and plans online too. Visit www.planningportal.gov.ukand read about the benefits on e-planning here: http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/general/news/stories/2012/feb12/230212/230212_1
You can also speak to us face to face at our Gainsborough office. If you wish to do this you must call us before you visit to make sure that an Officer will be available when you arrive.
